*NEW* Martha Challenges
The new Martha challenges are up!
This go-round, we are working towards building a consistent routine in the day-to-day. Therefore, these are doable Martha challenges that even your children can help with (you most likely already do these things, perhaps just not consistently). The goal is to develop a habit of daily cleaning tasks.
What you will see:
NEXT THING: The “Next Thing” is something extra you can do that day to get your home in order. Eventually, the “Next Thing” will become part of your daily, weekly, or monthly routine.
Prepare Meals for Tomorrow: I am encouraging all of you to prepare (or prep) your Sunday meals (all of them) on Saturday. I do this in the hope that you can actually find rest on the Sabbath. I also encourage you to use only paper products on Sunday.
Laundry Put Away: One of the ways I get trapped in a vicious laundry cycle is by not getting my laundry put away. Doing the laundry is easy enough, getting it in its proper place seems to elude me. I encourage you to not move onto another load of laundry until the first one is folded and put away.
Recommendation:
Begin these challenges on a Monday for optimum success (they are all based on a Monday through Saturday model).
Let’s begin! Simply go to the Reader Only Downloads Page, put in the password it asks for (you must have the book in order to access these downloads-the password is case sensitive), and then click on “31 Days all New Routine Challenges” (right under ListPlanIt downloads). For a more calendar based system, use the Routine Challenges with “Days of the Week.”
